I have two soundcards on my box, one's a PCI based Ensoniq ens1730 and the other is an ISA based ESS Audio Drive es1688. I configured alsa with oss,sequencer for both my cards and used the console based graphical alsamixer to set volumes. It detects my PCI card as does a modprobe snd-card ens1

Hi. I'm temporarily not on any alsa* mailinglist so please cc to me. Turning on 'IEC958 DAC To Out' does _not_ route all analog signals to SPDIF as preclaimed in the docs. Especially analog input from line-in does not appear on the SPDIF output. I verified this by playing some music through st
