is because i read up on all of pipewire and we made music with it
last week. But i was still running a2jmidid -e -u.

Last night i wanted to play with my flute attached to freqtweak only to
learn that it has become outdated. But since i always install a newer
UbuntuStudio next to the previous one i could easily copy the neccesary
files to the usual place. There is only libsigc outdated on our systems

When i start qjackctl or qtractor it shows there is no hpet table
available:
This system has no accessible HPET device (device or resource busy). Can
anyone perhaps show me a way to check what service is keeping this for
itself or how to fix this?

If i may say something about this: it is strange that a pressing-company
askes for this. Burning the raw wav and cue as a data disk should be
enough. They can make the iso themselves if needed (and if they know so
much)

You must use in-between tools for that on both sides that can interconnect
if i'm correct..

set jack/qjackctl above about 4 msec. But now i was experiencing lot of

On my machine i had a similar problem with rt. After more than 1,5 year of
searching, trying out and lots of help with explanation on the ubuntuforums
i discovered that it was this BIOS setting that must be turned off: IOAPIC

Now that i have it up and running with a stable latency of 8msec(did not
