Hi all,
I use Ubuntu 10.4 and a 1 tb ext drive to store my docs, backups, movies
etc.
Got some friends who want to borrow the drive. I do not want them to have
access to the docs and private folders. To the others let them copy, paste
etc
Ant suggestions on how to go abt it?
Regards,
Brian

if you have installed the 64bit version then just use update manager to have
all up to date patches. Not sur why u want to update the iso.
In any case as mentioned in the prev email, this cannot be done.

The problem is some programs just dont run with 64bit system. I could not
the 32bit internet connecting binary from my 64bit lucid install. Hence had
to fall back on 32 bit.
Also there are many programs just not available in 64 bit.

Thanks for the inputs.
I needed your suggestions on steps I would need to follow to feed these NAL
units into the H264RTPSink. For starters

Hi,
I have been tracking posts regarding streaming MPEG4 audio( encoded in AAC)
and in an earlier post too I was instructed to have a look at the

My queries:

Regarding not using Darwin, the idea is to alow support playlists as well (
in terms of scalability). Else Live555 was enough.
One question here. It is fine to do unicast streaming and inject those
streams ( without enabling RTSP server right) and let the DSS take care of
RTSP right?
Thanks

Hi,
In one of the FAQ's as well as earlier discussions there was something asked
about streaming MPEG4 content and the need for enabling the RTSp server in
those applications for unicast streaming.
*My scenario:*
What would be needed in this scenario, I want unicast streaming but

Hello,
Is is the industry standard for endpoints to have multiple SIP dialogs
running on one UDP/TCP port or is it better to have one dialog per port
? Are there security/firewall issues that should be considered when
running multiple dialogs on one port ?
Thanks,
Brian.
