Congrats on everything Caleb. We’ve not had battles in a long, long time. My
tank is currently gathering cobwebs , taken apart for some upgrades, but with
no battles insight , now languishes in my basement. Would love to have a
reason to bring the mighty PZII out of mothballs. Maybe a spring
There should be construction pics of my Panzer II on the site.

As already mentioned by others, what a great weekend. Lots of hiccups with our
assets, but nothing that the group could not overcome. So, here are some
snippets from my battle cam of the rookie vehicles in action on the field.
Being home these past 2 days, seems the heat was masking a nice feve
Since we have quite a few new rookies this event, I felt I should share some
footage of some veteran advanced battle techniques.
To set the stage. Game was Capture the Flag. There was an impassable river
between the bases with only 1 river crossing guarded by artillery and hand held

Rumor has it that there's a battle in 4 weeks. It's been soo quiet lately,
I guess everyone is using the time to perfect their weapon platforms. So, tell
me what you've been doing please. I'm still trying to attend, confidence is
high.
Thank you for your time,
Oberst Johann

I'll let Will fill in the technical details as to the type and voltage of the
LIPO cell.
So, for those who were not there Sunday, can you tell us why the cell caught
fire. The were properly charged, installed, and then the SU100 was driven,
carrying equipment over 100 feet to the battle prep area
I'll be there both days... I can bring water ,beverages, plates and utensils

The day began quietly enough. Tanks being unloaded from their carriers,

Brief rules recap: You can only score one hit on a vehicle, so it takes 4 hits
from different assets to kill you. It's every man for themselves.
First few minutes of video:
Lesson 1. Hard to break old habits.. Right DougLOL.
Lesson 2. Once that asset hits you, they might as well be you
And it was to be, FOOTBALL. Four on four, three blockers and a quarterback.
Quarterback moved the ball, tackled by being hit anywhere one time.

Entitled hostage rescue, the Smith Clan was supposed to keep us tankers at bay.
I'm not sure what happened, but it was more like we were shopping at the

The beginning shows one of Steve's many successful runs.

Opening scene. Pay close attention to the manipulations that young Mr. Smith

Here we have Caleb preparing his 25 pounder for battle. Joe provides a tale to

allows the 25 to rotate so quickly. As he is firing ,the thunks you h
Query. What happened to the Cromwell and the Patton after they
successfully crossed the bridge?
Well, they met up with Papa Smith in command of T-77.
First he takes on the Cromwell. Not sure exactly what takes place

Altogether in the first battle there were 4 total invasions. Two in each

A new force arrived at today's event. The Smith (nom de guerre) Combat Clan

Frank,
I think Caleb needs to be designated as FA008. I think you may
have missed his request in his build thread.. Plenty of pics and video in the

More from that first battle session. The dialog is hilarious. Pay attention to
when it dawns on Frank there is an unholy alliance , temporarily, of tanks
versus artillery.
Later, watch as Pauls PzII wades into a hailstorm of hurt. Love the dance. LOL.

As we all know, paintball is a sometimes painful sport.
We start the clip with some long range action against Will's SU100. Watch
closely and you'll see the shot explode on his tank. That was the kill hit, he
already had 3 on his tank.

Thought you might like a look at the fox and hounds.
First clip. I am one of the hounds, Frank one of the foxes. Given the tally-ho
signal I venture up the open area to attack the fox. However, seems the fox was
not where indicated and I was properly ambushed. After a brief paint check, I

Yes fellow tankers it TRUE. Bad Kitty showed her claws today. Scored at least
