Fogive me if I misunderstand, but isn't the power of a proposal 0 unless
and until the Decision about it results in ADOPTED? Thus, during the
voting period, the Comptrollor would still have higher power than the
proposal, fulfilling the requirements of Rule 2140.

Comptrollor only affects proposals when the proposal "takes effect"
(last paragraph of R2597). The proposal "takes effect" within this

I’m not entirely sure it works out that way. However, in any case, I think
you just found a power escalation vulnerability. If one had a power-1
dictatorship, one could amend a power-3 proposal just before it was about
to pass and then get a power three dictatorship. If you controlled the

Ah, sorry then. Thanks.

I don't think you can amend a proposal directly. I think the only
thing you can do is use the R106 "except by other rules" which can
only prohibit existing proposal clauses from taking affect, not add
clauses.
The logic is: Right now, R2140 works for the most part. However R106
beats R2140 (sam
I may have miscounted; it does not appear to affect the result though. Apologies

Ah, here's the protection I was looking for:
R2350 (power=3):
Once a proposal
is created, neither its text nor any of the aforementioned
attributes can be changed.

I didn't want this to pass by without commenting - I think a
well-written judgement that covers interesting philosophical aspects
is a fine candidate for an Associates' degree (I think that's what
we've done before with a few).

Yeah, I didn’t make a CoE because I can’t see how it matters. I mostly wanted
to make sure I hadn’t mis-cast my ballot!
Thanks for looking.

I think at the time I ended up pointing out that you SHOULD
Agora-publish the full text ("publication of an original thesis")
rather than a link? It also looks like there was some discussion
about whether publishing something non-original would count. In the

(This fails because it does not "specify[] the amount of the Auction's
currency to bid" [R2550], since the currency is coins.)
Thank you, but why?
