We have run the numbers and the most cost-efficient kit we have found is this setup with individual runs per AP: FS FTTA Armored Fiber https://www.fs.com/c/ftta-patch-cables-3856 Direct Burial 14/2 Wire https://www.parts-express.com/JSC-Wire-1000-ft.-14-AWG-Direct-Burial-Speaker-Lighting-Wire-10

What are you using for a fiber breakout box at the top? On Saturday, April 3, 2021, Gino A. Villarini wrote: > We have run the numbers and the most cost-efficient kit we have found is > this setup with individual runs per AP: > > > > FS FTTA Armored Fiber https://www.fs.com/c/ftta-patch-cables-3

I don't think he uses a break-out box. He has individual runs from the bottom to each radio. On Sat, Apr 3, 2021 at 8:43 AM Jason McKemie < j.mcke...@veloxinetbroadband.com> wrote: > What are you using for a fiber breakout box at the top? > > On Saturday, April 3, 2021, Gino A. Villarini wrote:

We did essentially the same thing on an LTE deployment.  I wasn't focused on the cost so much, but I reasoned that getting a tower climber to replace a pre-terminated cable would be easier than getting a tower climber to do splicing or terminations up there. I think my next plan is a Commscope

I just figured the patch cables were being used with a breakout box. I guess they do stock them up to 50m length. On Saturday, April 3, 2021, Josh Baird wrote: > I don't think he uses a break-out box. He has individual runs from the > bottom to each radio. > > On Sat, Apr 3, 2021 at 8:43 AM Jas

On those FS armored jumpers, do they run the stainless spiral all the way through the cable, or is it only where the fiber is outside the jacket? On 4/3/2021 6:28 AM, Gino A. Villarini wrote: We have run the numbers and the most cost-efficient kit we have found is this setup with individual r

I think it's all the way through, but I'll have to check once I get back to the shop. On Sat, Apr 3, 2021 at 10:31 AM Adam Moffett wrote: > On those FS armored jumpers, do they run the stainless spiral all the way > through the cable, or is it only where the fiber is outside the jacket? > On 4/3
