My crews hit a city water main last week. It happens. House sized crater in
the street. We are still working on fixing the hole.
They claim they did not see any paint. City says it was painted. Our policy

Looking for something slightly more automated. Like an app that does it for

Google photos is pretty automatic. Store photos and videos, and
there is some compression if it's a free account. A paid account
can have significant storage. The latest version you can turn off
some of the "automaticness".

What I would really like is a real camcorder.
One with the flip out lcd view finder and a strap for your hand. Are those
things still made guess I should look.
But then, saving the data to something globally accessible is key.
Camcorder would probably add a layer of complexity to that.
This and the dropbox posting by Mike seem to be a great answer.

Yeah camcorders are still around now with flash memory instead of tapes.

Phones and most digital cameras also take videos, so that has probably made
the "camcorder" obsolete. Storage is the issue. I assume a DSLR can fill

I just bought a nice $99 camcorder from an Amazon vendor.
It has wifi connectivity. LCD screen, hand strap etc. Looks perfect. Even
night vision, zoom etc.
So we will have it in a padded bag but also require one other employee to
use their phone as a back up.

We have 32GB cards in our dashcams, and that gives us a little over 5
hours of recording. They use about 100MB per minute.

These days when a movie ticket is $15 per person, plus I have to drive
20 miles (each way) to get to a theater, I'm more inclined to pay $3.99
or $5.99 or $9.99 and sit down with the whole fam damily with our cheap
popcorn in front of the big screen.

Our matinee price/old person price is $6.50
Takes me about 10 minutes to get to the theater.
I enjoy the theater experience.
I have a very large home theater but I still prefer to go to the movies.
I almost never use my home theater any more.

Theaters have probably upped their game since you last went. Luxury seating,
hot food, bar, in theater dining. Not sure about gum stuck to the seats.

Our local one screen theater is $4 before 6pm and $6 after. Great popcorn
and nice seats.
Half hour away, there's a 12 screen theater with leather reclining seats
and I go on Tuesdays when every movie is $5. Great deal
