Honestly, get the small Lenovo
Duet. It's a tad large for a tablet (10"), but will get
monthly updates for at least another 5 years, plus it can be used
as a laptop with the included detachable keyboard.
It will run all the new PWAs and a lot of other stuff too. S
That makes sense, just seems strange the only app that has problems it
the RDP app. It works perfect for all my streaming videos. For $120
I'm not complaining though. Like I said, 98% of it's usage is just to
watch videos on. And the battery lasts for an entire week between charges.

The spam on the android platforms is why I have only bought google built
androids for the last 10 years... I don't like the way the apple ui
works, too much stuff hidden from easy access or I just know how to get
behind stuff on the android and one of the most used apps is
wifi-analyzer and the
ok, I will give the real answer before saying buy a used iPad
The Pixel5 you have has 8GB of ram and that tablet only has 3GB of ram
running bigger versions of everything
top that with a much worse MediaTek CPU in the Samsung over the better
snapdragon in the Pixel5
and the better GPU in the pixe
I went through three !! of these cheep tablets.. Each one died with
screen failure.. Two different makers, one Samsung.. I gave up because
they died after I had put all my access info in them and did not want to
send them in and have someone have access to all my android account
info... S
Can't get that low on Price, although the Lenovo Duet (~~ $220) gets
pretty close, and is highly rated. Wouldn't tablets require a dongle too?
The main issue I have with Samsung tablets in general is that they never
seem to get updates & the browsers tend to be old versions.

I wanted something cheap and small. The tablet was only $120. I've
thought about getting a chromebook for a field laptop, but I think they
all need Ethernet dongles. Which would work, but is just another thing
bopping around in the truck.

I would not buy an "Android tablet" any longer. Much (much!) better to
get a Chromebook. They really do run current versions of Android, and
the ones with detachable keyboards are just great. Do not believe the
(old, tired) comments that Chromebooks are only a browser. They are
much, much more,
Oops, wrong tablet model, I have a Samsung Tab A7 Lite 8.7"

for Microsoft RDP. The RDP Client works perfectly on my Pixel5 phone,
but when I connect with the tablet, all the screen updates are seconds
delayed.
