Thanks for your response. I wrote Python code to pull the data from Ad
Performance Report and I can get values for the field 'device'. The problem
seems to be with Adwords connector in Microsoft Azure. We have raised a
ticket with Microsoft. Thanks for the inputs

Please see this guide as it shows what fields cannot be used when using Device.
If you still face issues after adjusting your report query, please reply
privately to author with your report definition so I can take a closer look.
