Thanks for the information. It is interesting to note that the first
report request validates as is if I don't provide the client email
SOAP header, set crossClient to true, and provide a single client
email address. This seems like odd behavior.

For your first request, the account in question does not have any ad
groups that use CPM bidding. Getting an error about CPM columns being
invalid when there are no ad groups with CPM bidding is an
unfortunately, longstanding bug. See

Here is another request that fails on different columns. The only
difference is the client email header:
