When you request for historical keyword metrics with Google Ads API, it
shows that the latest period is September 2020, but in fact the data is not
out yet. (The latest as of now is August 2020 data).
I've verified with the older Google AdWords API and Keyword Planner.

I am also experiencing this issue, and I can confirm that the same term
"italian men" does not produce any data in the new Google Ads API too. Same
goes for "apple" and "iphone" (and many others).
