This problem becomes even more odd when having migrated some items to
upgraded urls. You might have Link URL on position 2 or final url/tracking
template somewhere in 5 or 6.
Or, if you don't have a description line at all, the final url might be on
position 2...

Hi Mike,
thank you for your answer.
I already had a look at the guide and tried just decoding once (for a
single redirect).
Unfortunately, the API still responds with an URL_NOT_EQUIVALENT error.
(Just tried again)
I think, it happens most likely when there is a wrongly encoded value track

Or to rephrase the problem:
For your check for AdError.URL_NOT_EQUIVALENT, you decode the final URL.
I couldn't reproduce the decoding step in a consistent way for special URL
parameters (especially value track parameters, that were wrongly encoded in
the initial destination url).
This results in

Hi,
we're currently preparing for the "upgraded url" migration for search
campaigns.
As far as I understand it, this is what you have to do:
Given
http://tracking.server.com/tracker?param1={creative}¶m2={network}&redirecturl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.buystuff.com%2Fcatalogsearch%2Fresult%2F%3Fq%3Dthings%
+1 for more information on that subject.
I'm receiving URL_NOT_EQUIVALENT errors during test-upgrade and have no
clue, what's different. So some sort of hint, how exactly you concatenate
tracking url and final url would be helpful.
thank you!

Hello Sérgio,
that's it!
One more proof, that 80% of the errors come from the guy in front of the PC
(which is me in this case :D)...
Thank you very much for your help!

Hello Sérgio,
ok, that's good to know.
I tried to create a shopping campaign from merchant center UI as well. It says,
that the link status for the adwords customer ID 612-309-0132, which is the
test MCC, is active.
But everytime I try to create a shopping campaign there, it says "Oops,

Hi Sérgio,
I tried to create the campaign using the adwords webinterface, which didn't
work. It states "You can't create a Shopping campaign until you link your
AdWords account within a Google Merchant Center account."
Can I create a shopping campaign and some test product dimentsions via API? I
Hi Sérgio,
thank you for the quick reply!
I've created a merchant center in the meantime and connected it to our test mcc.
But now I'm facing the problem that we don't have a real shop ourselves for the
merchant center (we're basically a service provider).
You have to claim your website for uploa
Hi Sérgio,
thanks for getting back to me.
I'd like to change cpc bids on shopping product dimensions.
We already have bid updating for ordinary keywords with the mutatejobservice in
place.
But it turned out, that this approach doesn't work for shopping criteria.
I thought, it might be a good idea
Hi,
we've successfully created a Test-MCC. I'd like to try out some calls for
shopping campaigns. When trying to create a shopping campaign, the adwords
UI states "You can't create a Shopping campaign until you link your AdWords
account within a Google Merchant Center account.".
