The reason why we need to backup to disk is because of backup concurrency. Unlike tape drives that are limited to number of mounts. What are the license requirements of that setup from ESS to LTO tape. Did you use TDP for Hardware? Did you require any data mover device? inotzki Joshua Bassi

SANERGY vs File Drives - Lan free to disk

multiple node concurrently backing up. I guess what I'm looking for is something like Disk device class. Can SANergy support the Disk Device class or is it also Sequential File Devices. What's the difference? Any opinion would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. inotzki
