Hi Ian,
Not an expert yet, but did you specify a start date when you defined the
schedule. If it was blank, this may cause it to think the schedule was
active prior to the actual created date.

Hi,
I would really appreciate some help with a script for the following.
I want to list all my schedules and be able to see what Management class
they are using.
I have set the Management Class in the various Client dsm.opt files.
Is there a place where this info gets stored in TSM when the backu

I have a Windows 2003 File Server Situated 300km's away that requires
backing up. We have a 512kb digi-net line to them.
We were using a "Tacit" (sic) server to replicate between that site and
our data centre and in turn backed up the data centre version using TSM.
"Tacit" is not up to scratch, a

The Licensing works per processor per Blade. I.e a dual processor would
require 2 x base licenses for Windows etc, and if you were using TDP for
SQL you would require 2 x TDP licenses for TDP. You could run 50 VM's on
one blade and those would be the only license requirements.

Hi
In a previous post I ask for advice on retiring an old library and
commissioning a new library in its place. I have reached a point where I
am not too sure on the direction to follow.
I have migrated all my storage pools (sequential) to the new library,
and they are working fine. I creat
over for you.
So updating your old 'offsite' pool to include the new 'offsite' pool as the
next migration pool. Make sense? Then manually kick off migration and wait
till its done.

Hi All,
I am looking for guidance on creating a script to show me the contents,
Storagepool, and nodes per DR Tape that ejects each day.
Q drmedia is fine to tell me what tapes, but I would like to see what
tapes belong to what Storage pool when sent offsite, as I send them
offsite for a month, w
The dsm files are preformatted to the size you specified when they are
created. They are typically like raw disk devices. The size reported is
the physical size and not the size of the data contained in the dsm file
