Hi all,
We have to migrate TSM 5.2 from OS390 to AIX 5.2.Total data is around 20 TB
with 8 drive library.
What will be the best strategy to do this? server to server export import or
fresh backups after fresh installation.
Any past experience,writeup or redbook for this activity?

Does anybody has a procedure/writeup on how to restore a sap database from
scratch using TDP for r/3 and TSM in case of a complete disaster on same or
different system.Our enviornment is WINDOWS 2003.
We are in process of testing TDP for r/3 for complete recovery of SAP servers.

By default open file support will not be installed.While installation choose
Custom method and select open file support.Or just update your installation
with open file support option.

My Tsm server is in receive wait all the times while doing the backup of TDP
for domino.Some time it finishes in 5 hrs some time it takes 10 hrs.
I tried with compression on and parallel sessions ,but performance further went
down.Then i changed it to defaults.

Thanks for turning up.It is a production server and offline backup is not
possible at all.
On domino server cpu,memory ,network are less utilized during backup.The only

However in logs it is completed with ANS1115W warning.
In my script i am saying dsmc selective d:\notes\*
and in .opt file
exlude *.nsf
exclude *.ntf
