When I try to use Parallel backup paths for TDP R/3, I receive the following
error message when trying to connect to the same TSM server on two different
Network Adapters:
Tivoli Data Protection for R/3
Interface between SAPDBA Utilities and Tivoli Storage Ma
# Mgmt-Classes
in this case only first adapter card will be used.If the first card is
down, the second card will be used.

Backup version off-site every week?
Reason: Primary Pool will hold 4 - 4TB versions of a SAP DB Backup.

Does any one know where the incremented variable for versioning is kept in
TDP for R/3? I know that you specify the max number of versions in the
initsid.utl. But where is the actually variable in TSM or TDP for R/3 held?
In a table space?
I would like to use this number in a scripted.

The following issue has occurred after we upgraded our TSM server from 4.2
to 5.1.5.1 and TSM client from 4.2 to 5.1:
After a backup under the new version a restore hangs after restoring a few
files.
