I have a windows server that the session just hangs but the backups seem
to have run fine. There are no errors in the clients error log.
How do I determine or stop the session from hanging?

In sql enterprise manager right click on the database and go to
properties. Look at the options tab put a checkmark in the shrink log
box. Within TSM from the sql gui check the truncate log box in the
backup tab.
Should do it.
