You should be aware that the TSM Journaling Engine service is not supported
in MS Cluster server. Only one TSm Journaling Engine Service may
be installed on a machine and the TSM Journaling Engine Service
can not dynamically start/stop monitoring shared disk.

since your lan is up, because of the ping,
you don't have a lan connection problem.
This error can occur if the lan connection
went down OR if someone canceled a backup
operation.
try stopping and restarting the scheduler on the
client machine.

on os/390 v2 release 10 configured with
Unix services.
I did not see linux support, except for
tdp for domino v5.2 on linux x86.
