between NT 4.0 and W2k on configuring journaled
backup ?
I used the setup wizzard, with the default settings.
In my opinion i did nothing wrong, and it has to work, but that doesn't
mind.

take a look at the installed language packages., there is your problem Had
the
same problem: make an smitty install_all_available software on the
packages.
This helped on aix 4.3.3 tsm-server 4.2.2.7.
Sorry, cant remember the name of the packages but you need the correct
versions.

the reason for slow backup or archiving is in my expierience mostly a
mismatch in switchport speed. On the other hand i had very backupperformance after
there had been a new virusscan engine installed. In this case the W2k
Servers show no influence but the 4.0 NT Servers did. In this case
