Hi Tom,
The increase in size is attributed mostly to this item:
"Simplified and secure web-based portal for remote file-level recoveries"
The client includes a web server now.

Hi Zoltan,
Please take a look at the documentation -
https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/spfd/8.1.0?topic=utility-syncdb-command
The connection string would be the same as if you connected to the catalog
using RMAN.

Steve,
You will need to relocate full-text catalogs also.
When relocating databases that contain full-text catalogs, the full text
catalog names will also need to be specified as values to /relocate ... /to
options. E.g.
tdpsqlc restore SQLDB1
/relocate=datafile1,datafile2,log1,sysft_PageCatalo
Paul,
When you generate the second password, specify /tsmoptfile option:
tdpsqlc query tsm /tsmoptfile=dsmarch.opt /TSMPassword=password

It is possible that RMAN backup and tdpoconf use different dsm.opt (and
different dsm.sys server stanzas). One way to check if the same stanza is
used:
1. Add an invalid "option" to dsm.sys stanza that you use. E.g
...
bad_option 1
..
2. Run tdpoconf showenv - should fail with "ANS0220E (RC400)

Hi Charles,
Have you tried using tdposync? The tdposync utility checks for items on the
Tivoli Storage Manager server that are not in the RMAN catalog. This
utility allows you to repair such discrepancies between the Tivoli Storage
Manager server and the RMAN catalog.
