Does anyone have any solution of following problem.
I found out that 15 of 17 Year end and Month end volumes are missing from
the storage pool. They are all YE/ME archive from last Nov. Their
retention are set for 10 and 2 years. I search all volhistory and couldn't
find.

Yopu may try the following setp to re-set the password, and see it works or
not.
>From TSM server; DSMADMC and logon to ADSM
UPDATE NODEFORCEPWRESET=YES
QUIT
>From client node; DSMC
Q SESSION
type in new password, this will activate the password check
Note: dsmc schedule needs to be run
After the upgraded ADSM 3.1 to TSM 3.7.4, I have similar problem which
under investigate now. Larry, what exactly problem you have with Expire
Inventory. Missing volumes in storage pool??
Besides that, there is another problem I experienced. The "Maximum Mount
Points Allowed" @ client node wil

Tapes with FF00, it means they cannot check in as scratch, because the tapes
have un-expired data. That's why TSM is smart enough won't check in as
scratch, but they can check in as private.
Tapes can be check in again as scratch after all data are expired.
