I hardly recomend you upgrade first to 5.1.10.0
2-Upgrade to V5.3.0.0 and apply the latest patch
3-Upgrade to V5.4.0.0 and apply the latest patch
4-Upgrade to V5.5

Sometimes(i do not why) i have the same problem.
Try put
passworddir /opt/tivoli/tsm/client/oracle/bin64
in the dsm.sys file

What VTL solution do you recommend?Our main backup tool is TSM and we also have
Networker for documentum backup.
I mainly look for IBM,EMC,HP,Netapp.

Does anyone know what is the best way to make a filesystem backup than contains
million files?
Backup image is not posible because is a GPFS filesystem and is not supported.

Meaby,in the same logical partition, you must define X drives for TSM1 and the
others for TSM2.
Where i work whe have two tsm servers but server 1 is the library manager of
server2.
Let´s wait for other colleagues answers.
