One of my TSM servers is using disk only for onsite pools and tape for offsite.
I am considering putting a SAN offsite to mirror my onsite diskpools thereby
doing away with tape all together. This server has about 12TB of storage. I
have a dedicated fiber link to my offsite location.

I used the "overflow location" once with success when I was in this same
situation. Just long enough to put in some scratch tapes and move data.
I wouldn't recommend it for normal occasions though.

You may run into a problem if there is a vm migration occuring and at the same
time the migrating node is backing up to the first proxy server. The second
proxy could attach to the new vm and try backing it up as well. Not sure what
would happen then.

servers.
Cristie's CBMR says it treats Exchange data as plain files with nothing to
handle the internal structure of Exchange.
Not sure about Cristie's TBMR. (my IBM re-seller tells me he talked to Cristie

Check to see if you have anything in the dsierror.log. Also look in your Event
Viewer for errors. There may be a problem in your dsm.opt file.

i500. I have this library on one of my TSM servers but thinking of expanding
it and upgrading the drives to use it exclusively for my enterprise library.

Trying to install TSM 6.3 Server on a RHEL 6.1 server.
I got the server installed but when installing the 6.3 client I get errors
"fileconflicts with file from package TIVsm-API-6.2.2-0.i586". The 6.2
packages were installed by the 6.3 server install.
Tried installing the client rpm with -

You can remove the old API and install the latest one 6.3.
