We are currently planning a move from a Qualstar AIT2 library to a
Qualstar LTO3 library. Does anyone have a similar move they've made and
if so, any details on Read/Write stats and number of tapes needed for
proper Storage/Scratch Levels/Reclamation.

Does anyone use Image backups with Incremental and if so how well have
they worked compared to normal Incremental?
Has anyone used it with a Groupwise server?
Will an Image Backup with Incremental work well in a Point in Time
restore?

Has anyone seen or experienced issues with AIT drives with older
versions of Tivoli with the old drivers. Errors with drives and what
not. I know the newer versions of Tivoli have actual windows device
drivers.

of the data backed up. For example, you backup and encrypt your files with
password xx stored in the windows registry. Can you change that password
at some point to yy and be able to restore that data or is xx forever
linked to that encrypted data?

I agree on the speed/duplex. I have personally seen speed/duplex
mismatch cause this. I don't personally have issues with Auto, just
make sure both sides(server and switch) match.
