Have 3.7 TSM. Backup 45 servers. No collocation on tapes. Want to create a
special schedule where three of those servers run a quarterly backup to tape
and tape is sent off site. No other servers have offsite tapes. Looking
through all the GUI interface screens I cannot see how to do this. Any hel
command.
I think that would be the best way to do what you want.

If I have several servers that previously were bound to an archive policy of
180 days and I create a new management policy to 90 days and now set the
archive backup to point to that management policy- when will the additional
90 days expire from all the existing archive data. I no longer want to

Does anyone have experience with backing up MVS UNIX as a client running in
the same server as OS390. This is not a separate client server but part of
the OS390 shell.

We just upgraded to OS390 server 3.7.1.0
Is there a problem with Expiration in this release? I know that 3.1 there
was? It looks like expiration is working but the amount of files expired
seems to have decreased significantly.
TSM is our means of backing up all the PC Lan data except for Exchange data.
We are using DLT tapes using a manual process. Can someone point me to a TSM
solution for this. Either relate their experience or documentation on
approaching this. Thank you.
