Hi all. Hope you are well.
I was wondering if some of you could share your scheduling strategies.
For most nodes, I just use a standard daily incremental schedule. The
problem is that we have to keep all of our data for year. So, for some
servers I am keeping 365 versions of a file.

Hello,
Something changed in our TSM environment a ways back and just noticed
that the daily full DB backups aren't expiring... I have them all the
way back to the beginning of July. My first inclination was to check
DRMDBBACKUPEXPIREDAYS, but it's only set to 7 days.
Any ideas of why this
Hi all.
I was wondering if any of you have experience using TSM to backup a
Windows box that's running Eracent?
If so, can I exclude the entire EracentEPACollector directory entirely
as long as I am getting the regular SQL dumps?
I realize it may behoove me greatly to contact Eracent ab
Hope everyone is doing well today.
I was wondering if anyone had any experience with restoring files from
backup with only certain timestamps. More specifically, we are combing
two file servers into one and wish to exclude any files that haven't
been modified since 2002. Is this possible?

Hello, everyone. Hope you are well.
I wish to setup automatic cleanings from within our TSM server 5.2.2. I
have 4 LTO2 drives inside a StorageTek L700 library. Does anyone know
the recommended cleaning frequency for this type of environment?

After migrating our entire datastore from DLT to LTO2, I have discovered
a bunch of damaged files that did not migrate to their new storage pool
cleanly. (It's possible they may have been damaged already)
I started getting these errors, which I'd never seen before:

Hi all, hope you are well.
I have a daily schedule that is supposed to archive all files and
directories inside of it and then delete the files it just archived.
However, it leaves the directories behind and just deletes the files.
Anyway to delete the directories as well?
The command I'm executi
Anyone know what's up with this error?

Hi all. Hope you are well.
I was wondering if anyone could suggest a way to backup 3 exchange
servers by doing 5 incs and 2 fulls per week but only keep 4 fulls for 6
months and 1 full per month for backups >6 months old up to 1 year?
I'll map it out
