utility? How did you solve it then? The OS is AIX 4.3.3 M10 and Oracle is
ver8.1.7. TSM is ver5.1.1 and TDP for Oracle is 2.2.10

backup to tape. I tried to isolate the problem without TSM by simply using
rman to backup to an internal 4mm tape drive but get an error that unable to
initialize the subsystem (SBT) layer. Is there any configuration
