I recently upgraded a couple of my servers to Netware 6. During backup, the
processor utilization pegs at 100%. The tsm client version on the servers
is Version 5 Release 1, Level 0. Compression on all the volumes is off
therefore I have the following settings in the dsm.opt file:

I am running TSM version 5.1.0 on a Windows 2000 server. When I try to
backup Novell Directory Services tree on my Netware 5.1 server, it fails.
The error log says that the License object cannot be accessed. Does anyone
know how to exclude NDS license objects from backup? I also see following
error

OR
EXCLUDE.DIR "NDS:.O=TSM.NLS:Publisher=Novell+NLS:Product
=NetWare 5 Conn SCL+NLS:Version=510"

I am going nuts here.
I have been having lots of problems with this library since day one. Two of
the three drives were reporting I/O errors while reading the labels on
tapes and TSM would mark those volumes as being unavailable. IBM sent a CE
to replace the drives. But that didn't help. I am stil
ptec 39160 controller OEM by Compaq. The
two drives were replaced by IBM but that didn't help. I have the latest
firmware on the library and the tape drives.
Anyone have a clue what is going on here?
Thanks
