Hi Markus,
I missed a bit that you try only client to server at the moment. This is
pretty straightforward. Here's a snippet from the dsmserv.opt of our
7.1.4 server:
TCPPort 1500
SSLTCPPORT 1502
TCPADMINPort 1501
SSLTCPADMINPort 1503
SSLTLS12 YES
ADMINONCLIENTPORT NO

Erwann,
Thanks for your input : I had a look at the video which clarified few points,
but not all of them ...
One question : if using deduped and compressed pool, shall the "compression"
option on the node definition be left to default "client" value, or must I
update it to "no" ?
I'm asking be
Arnaud,
If an object is already compressed (client side compression activated), it will
be ignored/excluded by server side compression.

Hi Gary!
As far as I know Amazon cloud is not (yet) supported... Only Cleversafe,
Softlayer and Swift are.
Kind regards,

Eric is correct. Using Amazon S3 object store for a Spectrum Protect
native cloud pool is not yet supported, but this is something very high on
the priority list.
You can still leverage Amazon S3 object store if you want to install a
cloud gateway that maps file systems to cloud storage. There
I would advise you to read the blueprint documents, they can be found here :

They give some good sizing guidelines.

Hi guys
Do anybody have any feedback about CBT support on NFS datastores ?
I just wanna make sure those datastores won't be a stepping stone to
issues.
I could collect some pieces of information here and there but there is a
lot contradictory information on that topic, at least, it seems to me.

If your v6 tsm is a different server than your v7 tsm, then you only need to do
step 1 of the procedure below. It is only if you are trying to get the data
back to the original server that you have to go to a second server then back
again.
