Joerg,
I think the brilliant piece W refers to is that you can place a seq. pool
inbetween to stop overflow migration.
I did not know that either, learning every day from the ADSM-L. Thank you

I am starting to get a lot of these messages:

on one of my TSM servers (my only RH Linux *6.3.4.000* server - other are
at 6.3.4.200 - not sure if there is a connection?).
How can I figure out what / who is causing this?

If you query the actlog, does it show a session or process ID associated
with that message, e.g.:
02/03/2014 14:44:57 ANR1439E Allocate prohibited - transaction failed.
(PROCESS: 1444)
Review the activity log to see what else was going on around the time this
occurred.

We've only run into this once, and it was with reclamation. I believe that
was on v6.2, and we haven't seen it since.

On second thought - ignore. The first place I got the message from
stripped off the SESSION info. I am looking into the session info, now.
Sorry for the DOH!

The session seems to be for another server asking for a tape?

To clarify - the errors are on my HADES server. In these messages, SUN is
the tape library / drive owning server.

Zoltan, check your activity log for messages like ANR1330E or ANR1331E,
going back in time... see if there is any connection to the current
ANR1439E messages.
I suggest you open a PMR for this. I don't think this is something I can
help with through this forum.
Best regards,

I do a backup of my VMware farm with TSM for VE 7.1.0 and TSM server 7.1.0.
My storage pool for the backup vm's are in dedup state with device type of FILE
