Dear team,
I have got only 100 GB/ hour for VMware image backup using LAN-free method.
Even though I have got 8 GB San switch port and 16 gb cache at v7000 storage.
Would it be usual speed for VMware image backup to TSM from proxy server ?

I want to share some information:
- TSM Server 5.5.6 was upgraded to TSM Server 6.3.3.100;
- new instance of TSM Server 6.3.3.100 has been installed on new
Power6 system;
- all data was exported from old TSM Server and imported directly to
new TSM Server;
-
How can I confirm that my TSM for VE 6.4 is using change block tracking?
David
Sorry, please ignore!

Hi Gary,
The short answer: APAR IC71533 is fixed in the level of code you are using.
That APAR was fixed in 6.1.5 and 6.2.2, which were the latest available
releases at the time the APAR was closed. But once an APAR is fixed, the
fix remains in future releases as well.

Thank you very much, Wanda.
Unfortunately, I still have old TSM Server but without storage pools which were
reused on new TSM Server.
We are not using retrieve very often. So I decided to keep current incorrect
file space names. After 2 years all data in the second set of file systems will

Hi,
Used it with adding slots, io slots and drives to lib and worked. Just make
sure lib is not being used and all drives are empty at the time of running the
audit. Co-worker tried it with lib in use and drives mounted and ended up with
one big mess to solve :D
Kind regards,
Karel
