We are planning on moving from ILMT 7.2.2 on AIX to 7.5 on RHEL. Is anyone
else using this combination? Any gotchas? Aside from the regular considerable
effort involved in ILMT admin.

Hi,
Not being a DB2 expert I am hoping that someone can advise me on a strange
situation with a AIX/DB2 client.
The client OS is AIX 7.1 and BA client level is 6.3.0.15.
In addition to file-level backups it also uses the BA API to perform DB2
database backups and archive logs.
DB2 is version 9.7
That is exactly what we are doing. We set up a RedHat 6 VM and installed
ILMT on it. I agree with your assessment about it being difficult to deal
with. No issues that I am aware of.
