This latest issue you point out with PASSWORDACCESS PROMPT and the "TSM
Login" dialog is not new in TSM 6.1.2; it also exists in TSM 6.1.0. APAR
IC64741 has been opened for this. Note that in 6.1.0, the pop-up message
you see after pressing "Cancel" just says "Operation stopped by
user"

Hello all,
A Backup missed last night and I see the error below in the dsmerror
log, The backup had been completing successfully for a couple of weeks.
We don’t even have a service called “TSM” I don’t know where this is
coming from, any ideas why this error would appear so suddenly???

I'm assuming here that you are using the client acceptor to manage the
scheduler service. To determine the name of the scheduler the CAD is
trying to start, run DSMCUTIL QUERY CAD /NAME:"TSM Client Acceptor" and
check what's reported for the Partner Service. Based on your DSMCUTIL LIST
