TDP for Exchange version 6.1 should be able to restore only selected items from a full mailstore backup into your RSG. But, I wouldn't be surprised if it had to retrieve all data from the TSM server in order to be able to leave out the undesired data. It's not the TSM server that does the filterin

Hi David, >From the TSM Side you can run 'tdposync' utility that is included with the DP Oracle installation. This will run a comparison between the RMAN catalog and TSM Server showing orphaned backups left on the TSM Server. This utility also provides the ability to delete these orphaned backups.
