The session is from a SQL backup that failed . It is in MediaWaiting status and
it is waiting a mount point in the librery, even when the librery has free

You need to pursue diagnosis.
Your posting doesn't say if this is the first time this client backup
has been historically attempted, or if it had been working for some
time. It may be the first attempt, and the server configuration is
incorrect such that type of drive requested is one which does
Well it is a daily backup and it has been worked correctly since two weeks ago.

Then you have a clear-cut case of something having changed, which

Is this with a Library Manager? If so, is there a hung session on it? We have

the server-upgrade directory on the storage ftp site is at 5.5.2.0 and
there is no server-upgrade directory under the patches directory for
5.5.2.1. The server upgrade book states that the upgrade utility must be at

I have and it works. I did this during the beta program. You just need all the
proper pieces performed in the proper order.

Hi there
I have had a few volumes in a disk storage pool go down as a result of
hardware failure. The pool contains staging data for backups of a
number of nodes prior to migrating to tape. There was not sufficient
time for this data to have been copied to the corresponding copypool
either.
Hi Richard,
Try: DELete Volume volume_name DISCARDdata=Yes
Warning: The data is just gone, really gone, after this is done.

Jason Clarke
