With our Netware boxes, we use the fullvm option with VCB to backup the entire
virtual machine. You will have to install the client on the VM if you want
file level backups.

Nick,
If you just want to preview - don't use the "TOS=" parameter and no
tape mounts will be done.

Not only that but collocation depends on the storage pool(s) the node's
data is being put in. If the new storage pool has collocate=no then
indeed, collocation will be lost.
So, I guess it would be WAD, not BAD.

OK, I'm making progress.
There are two similarly named options on EXPORT NODE. 'PREVIEWI,' "Preview
Import", reads tapes. My guess

Sadly, no:
ANR0554E EXPORT NODE: The PREVIEWIMPORT parameter is only valid if the
TOSERVER parameter is specified.
That's contrary
Can anyone who's had to go thru a dump db/load db/audit db cycle tell me the
relative length of the three steps? If the dump db takes one unit of time,
about how many units of times for the load db and the audit db?
David
Hi,
This may be helpful for you.
Dumpdb is quick. a 100 Gb DB was done in about 2 hours.
Load DB takes 2-4 times of dumpDB
Audit DB takes about 1 hr/GB of DB
