Just poking around on the web, it looks like the "ninode" is the number of inodes that it pre-allocates for the filesystem. That perhaps is taking up a little more "invisible" space on the filesystem. Since you don't really many any for an oracle DB, you might try to re-create the filesystem with

You didn't specify which OS platform. However, most OSes allow you to associate an IP address with a NIC via command. We do this in our TSM server startup script. If one NIC fails, you can just un-associate it from the dead NIC and re-associate with the other NIC. No impact to users or DNS tha
