We have started getting errors while backing up a SQL server

TDP 2.2.1
TSM client v5.1.5.0

This looks to be a userid and/or AD issue. It looks like
something changed in your environment that caused the
VDI creation functions to fail due to lack of security.
Have a closer look at the userid being used to run the
backup to see if something has changed recently in
regards to securit
Yes no problem. We wrote a shell menu that opens at the tail end of the
.profile which the options we want them to do. A combination of logging in,
running a console session, checking in tapes, labeling tapes, etc. When
they exit the menu it automatically exits the machine.

Seems awfully small to me.
Bear in mind that many filesystems process directory entries sequentially. You are
going to have a very big directory, and a lot of create/delete operations in the
course of an average day.
