will be used for other things.
We keep our SAP-data for 30 days.
The two servers are out of productoin already, because I received the mail

Refer to Chapter 1 in the Messages manual, which explains that the 'I' after

Yes, I personally physically labeled the tapes (both sticky external and

Hi everybody,
I am trying to write a little script to prepare daily report about ORACLE backups. We

Windows doesn't understand UNIX files, UNIX doesn't understand Windows
files, so you aren't going to make this happen with dsmc.
Instead, use dsmadmc (the ADMIN command line) in your script, and use SELECT
to query the information from the BACKUPS table.
Another advantage is that you only need one

Fred,
If you have reset the password, you will need to store it again.
You can do this by running a command like this:
TDPSQLC QUERY TSM /TSMPASSWORD=password
This assumes you are using the DSM.OPT file in the
Data Protection for SQL installation directory.
Also.. version 2.2 is pretty old.

No.
In your package of 5.2 CD's, you'll find there is an extra CD for a 5.1
WinNT client.
I think any of the 5.1.x clients run on WinNT; latest is 5.1.7.

There is a readme in the 5.1.7 client install that has a table showing what
