As told by our friend ,try the local backups on that m/c by gui.
If it is going on,Then the problem is with the scheduler services u have installed on
NT m/c.some hints are:
1.Ensure that tsm schedular service is starting properly and it is not dropped in
between.This u can check in admin tas
Though the LOG database is not necessary to recover the Domino server
functionality, it holds all the data for later investigation. Otherwise
the reason for failure might not be pinpointed and server to fail again.
IMnsHO it is up to Domino administrator to decide should this database be
backed up
