Hi all,
I heard a rumour that there is soon to be a 5.1 version of TSM. Does anyone
know when this is likely to be available and if there is any documentation
that details the changes or improvements it will have.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Bo,
SQL 7 allows log backups as long as the primary data file

SQL 2000 allows log backups even if the primary data file

The 3494 docs clearly state that it is the responsibility of the "host

I think if the files are not owned by the user running the dsm client

it. Otherwise, you may need to get the owner to run the dsm client.

It seems I may have introduced a bottleneck on my server by switching to

Not that I've played with the Unix GUI lately, but on NT (my workstation),
