documentation, after the recovery:
- I made a rebuild of the SQL tables
- I restarted the SQL Server in single user mode
- With TDP for SQL 1.1.1, I restored the master.dat file
- I tried to restart the SQL server and it fails ..

are now using a software level that's "not supported"...

of the archive logs...the full backups were fine. We never managed to
resolve that problem we just stopped doing the archive log backups and are
now migrating to Tivoli Data Protection.

Put your volser in place of volser. This will show all activity (including DRM state
changes) for that volume in last day. Then you can zoom in on when it changed and see

The old backint Versions did not work with the new API Code of the 4.1 client.
Old Backint needs API Code 3xxx. One Customer most go back from Client 4.1 to
client3.1

Sorry I forgot to mention, as you are OS390 it will be worth looking at the RMF
statistics
for the period of the database backup. This should show which resource is
causing your backup to run so slow. It could be cpu or possibly disk
contention,

Since v1 r1 of adsm I haven't found any tricks to speed this up
except to change hardware. My current system is

Make sure in upgrading backint to TDP that you go straight to 3.2. We went
to 3.1.4 and had alot of issues but 3.2 seems to be going well. We also ran
into CPU issues of a sort. With backint everything ran about 5 hours but
TDP seems to be more CPU intensive.

I have an L32... The long ribbon cable that attaches to the picker is
getting stuck. It can wrap around the picker and get damaged. IBM came up
with a retrofit kit to fix this problem. The ribbon cable will get damaged
if you don't install the retrofit kit which retains and reroutes the ribbon

We back up 19,591,179 pages in 4 hours. This is an 83GB database, 91%
utilized. Server is an RS/6000 M80. Backup media is DLT 7000
tape. Translates to 5.3MB/s by my calculation. Our incremental backups

tpdsql version 2.2 was working but now the gui window opens and then
immediately closes.
The tdpsql.log file show the request QUERY SQL but there is no connection to
the TSM 4.1.3.0 Server running on AIX 4.3.3 ML06 and there is no entry in
the dsierror.log file. A command line tdpsqlc QUERY SQL
