Yes, I have an OLD TSM client, 4.2.2.0 running on Novell 4.11
I am regularly getting these errors in the error log, and the backup never
seems
to finish anymore (for several weeks).
It is on an old slow processor (200mHz, PII), and backing up over a T1
circuit.

The only GUI I use is the B/A one, and only when I want file detail

read all the postings complaining of problems with use of the GUI
and web client interfaces.

The communications session times out.
The schedule is marked failed.
When the backup completes outside the schedule window, it tries to update
the status and you get the error.
These was an APAR open.

TSM Server 4.1.2.0 on AIX 4.3.3
The problem is on a client running NT SP6a / tsm 4.1.0.0
We recently upgraded this server and updated the client. Fresh install of
both NT and TSM, then restored the network drives. Since the rebuild/restore
it's been acting shady. Has anyone seen this error?
