I know that documented client value for SHMPORT is from value from
1000 to 32767 but i use the following configuration:
in dsmserv.opt
COMMMETHOD SHAREDMEM
SHMPORT 1
then restart server
Client dsm.opt
SHMPORT 1
And it works.

Windows test TSM server 5.5.4 on Win2K3, client 5.5.2 ON the TSM server.
Tried to set up

Have SHMPORT set to 1510 on both server and client.
The TSM server is currently running under my own account.
