I'm sure someone has done this before. I'm just looking for a little
kick in the right direction.
I have two TSM servers.
One (TSM server 1) with a L700 library using SDLT320 drives with a 50gb
db and approximately 90 TB of data and another (TSM server 2) using a SL

Hi Jop,
I run 4 servers on 1 Sun system. They have different software levels too.
I figured out how to install multiple software versions with pkgadd options

Hi,
Is it possible to run 2 TSM servers on a SUN Solaris machine where one of them
is ITSM v5.2, and one v5.3?
They are running with their own software (so not shared)
At the moment we have two 5.2.2 servers. One of those I want to upgrade to v5.3

You could achieve this quite easily with "double everything" on the node

Each client would talk to its own storage agent, that would talk to the

Hi guys,
I want to be able to configure a server using the LAN-free storage agent to be able to
back up to storage pools on two different TSM servers.
I.e. It will backup direct to tape via the SAN to a backup storage pool defined on one

You can share the library with more than 1 TSM server if using ACSLS. This will allow
you to assign the tape drives in the library to one TSM server or another by defining
the library type as "external". If you want to dynamically share drives in the

Hi TSMers,
I have an STKL700e library that I would like to share between two different

STK is providing us ACSLS - but the catch is that it has to be installed on a
different server than TSM ( IBM does

device class associated with TSM 'B' ? Anyone have any tips or ideas on
how to accomplish this?

If you need to DR the first ADSM server before restoring, why has a second

Extend a SAN network to a second site, set it up to use a separate devices

We are wondering if it is advantageous to run two TSM servers on that one
