Data Protection for SQL will use the TSM API at the 5.3 level
for backing up the data. The TSM API is upward compatible.
It is fine to use the latest DP/SQL 5.2.1 version in your enterprise.

There is only a 5.3.3 version of Data Protection for SQL for "x64".
It is at the same functional level as Data Protection for SQL 5.2.1
for "x32" and "ia64".

Hi does anyone know if there is there a 5.3 version of TDP for SQL
planned for release?
It seems on the FTP site the latest version is 5.2.1.4.
