Kirk, Data Protection for Exchange will only create one session for each instance that you run. If there is an error during a backup, it will retry up to a maximum of 4 attempts. There must be something else going on here. I suggest calling IBM support. Thanks, Del -

Sessions do not die with Cancel Session

I have a problem with an NT Exchange server running TDP for Exchange. It is generating about 360 sessions for both the server and the storage agent. The sessions will not terminate with cancel session, nor with a restarting of the storage agent. Is there a way to get rid of these besides restart
