The HP-UX online manual gives no indication it allows library
sharing.
Confirm this with IBM.
Sharing isn't a problem technically as it like SCSI sharing but
the documentation gives no indication of this, so it might not
be written for the HP-UX version of TSM.

Hi Suad,
I have working the library with HP-UX whitout
problem. But I found this library is not supported by
Tape library Manager and Client whether one of the
platform is HP-UX.
On the other hand, the chapter about "Configuring
TSM servers to Share SAN-Connected Devices" exists in
AIX but n
TSM 3.7/4.1 can share SAN connected libraries (including libraries
connected via a SCSI/FC gateway).
If you have the drivers and able to see(use) the tape and library
devices from the HP, sharing is possible.
Have a look in the Admin Guide under the section "Configuring
TSM servers to Share SAN-
