As told by our friend ,try the local backups on that m/c by gui.
If it is going on,Then the problem is with the scheduler services u have installed on
NT m/c.some hints are:
1.Ensure that tsm schedular service is starting properly and it is not dropped in
between.This u can check in admin tas
Try backing up the event logs from the gui or cmd line. Does this work?
If so it is probably a permissions problem - TSM saves the files to
c:\adsm.sys ... - ensure the system account (or whatever the scheduler
service uses) has write access here.
