Sorry if this has already been answered somewhere else, but which TSM
client and server versions are you using? (Be sure to give complete
version info, i.e. 5.2.3.11, not just 5.2 or 5.2.3).

If you look up the BACKUP IMAGE command in the client manual, you will see
a discussion about using image backup along with incremental backups to do
what you want. Check out method 1.
